HMi Elements is pleased to confirm that Paul de Beer joined the company as Managing Director on 18 August 2025.
HMi Elements has built a strong reputation for delivering robust, certified HMI solutions into safety-critical and regulated environments, particularly within the oil and gas sector. That reputation, built over many years remains central to the company’s identity and future direction under Paul’s leadership.
Paul combines a technical engineering background with senior business leadership experience. He trained originally as an electronics engineer and also holds a Master’s degree in business. His career began in the nuclear sector, working in highly regulated and safety-critical environments, and has since included leadership roles in technology-led businesses operating across multiple countries.
Since joining HMi Elements, Paul has been focused on gaining a deep understanding the business, including its people, customers, products, and partners.He has prioritised continuity for existing relationships while supporting the team’s ongoing product development efforts and ensuring delivering to the high standards for which the company is known.
Commenting on his appointment, Paul said: “I was drawn to HMi Elements because of its engineering depth and its reputation in demanding, regulated environments. My role is to build on that foundation, support the team, and ensure we continue to deliver dependable solutions that customers can rely on. I look forward to meeting many of our customers in the coming months.”
