Celebrating success: new certifications for our Quality Assurance Assistant!

We're proud to celebrate the recent achievement of our Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant, Iana Stoyantcheva, who has successfully completed the Quality Management Skills certificate with Clear Quality—an established ISO consultancy and training provider.

After joining our graduate scheme in 2023, Iana has continued to show outstanding dedication to personal development.

She recently completed a five-month bootcamp through Clear Quality, covering 12 modules including internal audits, GDPR, innovation, project management, and data analysis. The programme has equipped her with tools to solve real business problems, contribute to project delivery, and adapt to change, all of which are core competencies of her evolving role.

As a QA Assistant and internal auditor at HMi Elements, Iana plays a key role in ensuring all specialist computer solutions meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This is especially important for our products as they are all designed and manufactured to operate in extreme, hazardous environments, such as those found in the oil and gas sectors.

Speaking about her achievement Iana said: “I am really pleased to take this next step in my career and am proud to now have this certification under my belt. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the whole team at HMi Elements for always believing in me and supporting my personal development.”

Iana joined the graduate scheme in 2023 having already achieved a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and genetics from the University of Sheffield. Since joining HMi Elements, her dedication to continued personal development has been admirable and she has also recently completed, alongside Quality Manager, Stephen Howes, the IOSH Occupational Safety and Health Training.

Our graduate scheme aims to support university graduates with further training and qualifications, while fostering young talent in a welcoming and nurturing environment.

The scheme spans all departments at HMi Elements, from administration and business development to production and engineering, allowing graduates to specialise or, depending on background and career goals, gain new experience across all areas.

During her time in the programme, Iana has provided vital support to our sales and logistics teams thanks to her prior experience, helping manage product logistics, ensuring timely product deliveries and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Commenting on Iana’s recent achievements, Stephen Howes, Quality Manager at HMi Elements, said: “We are delighted to celebrate Iana’s most recent success of achieving her Quality Management Skills certificate. Iana is an asset to our team and is a great example of how company commitment to personal development can support an individual’s growth.”

Howard Gould, CEO of HMi Elements Ltd, added: “Ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are vital in our work. Our products are trusted in some of the most extreme environments under harsh conditions, so ensuring that these HMIs can keep operating safely, is at the very heart of our company culture”
